Hindu Temple of Northeast Wisconsin has come a long way from its inception in 2008. Over the years we have seen a constant growth in our devotee base. Our temple too has achieved major milestones such as Hiring of our beloved Pundit ji in 2015, Murthi Sthapna in 2017 along with new Temple Hall and Kitchen expansion and subsequent Brahmotsavam celebrations every year. Our Phase II expansion is planned to launch in summer of 2021.

Now, with great pleasure, I am announcing the extension of temple beyond providing religious support to the community. Starting March 2021, Hindu temple is launching the Community Outreach Initiative to provide Informational, Emotional, Educational and Therapeutic support to the community. We plan to organize various sessions for adults and children in the coming months. Some of the focus areas are:
  • Adult
    • Emotional challenges of COVID
    • Parents and Teen
    • Taxes and Tax Saving shelters
    • Understanding Immigration
    • Financial planning
  • Kids
    • Bullying
    • Screen Time
    • Social skills
    • Health and Exercise
Dr Richa Aggarwal will be leading the Community Outreach initiative and will build a panel of experts to bring these sessions to the community. Richa ji has been living in the Fox valley area for many years and is working as Adult, Child/Adolescent Psychiatry with Rogers Memorial Hospital in Appleton. If you want Community Outreach to cover any specific topics, you can request it at bit.ly/3bazaQe

We have all been impacted by COVID in some way. At least we can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. COVID has taken its toll on our mental, emotional, physical and financial health. I am excited to announce that our first session Beyond COVID is scheduled for March 5th from 7pm-8pm. The virtual presentation will be held via ZOOM and it will cover:

  1. General COVID information - Dr. Ravikiran Reddy (Prevea Health)
  2. Emotional implications of COVID- Dr. Richa Aggarwal (Rogers Memorial Health)
  3. Different Community Resources to get Vaccination - Dr. Kirti Ringwala (Private Practice) and Dr. Sumit Ringwala (Bellin Medical Group)
I look forward to your active participation to take advantage of these initiatives. We are off to a GREAT BEGINNING ….
